MA Games

I am an MA Games graduate specialising in 3D asset creation, which I have used to push into environment design and create my own interactive environment. I have used my time at university to delve into historical research for my game Beyond Hearth and Home, an educational experience in which players can interact with different objects (grave goods) to uncover more about the story of Ulfhild, a female Viking warrior, uncovering the hidden history behind these figures and discussing if they even existed.

The interior of a Viking longhouse, a dark and smoky atmosphere with items decorating the scene.

Women’s history and its representation is a passion of mine, and what better way to showcase my skills than by creating a project exploring a niche but important part of it? This project has pushed my skills in all areas of game development and art, and I’m hopeful for the future of the project and where it will take me.
