Emma Turner

MA Communication Design

I am a passionate illustrator with an MA in Communication Design and a BA in Illustration who is deeply inspired by heritage, literature, and the arts.
My projects reflect a passion for storytelling and cultural celebration, such as ‘Norwich’s Literary Alphabet’, which seeks to celebrate, inform, and explore the rich literary heritage of Norwich, offering an engaging way for audiences to connect with the city’s cultural roots.

My creative portfolio also includes the ‘Julian of Norwich’ pattern series — celebrating the first woman to write a book in the English language, which is now featured in the Julian Shrine gift shop.

I have a strong ability to interpret briefs imaginatively, presenting my enthusiasm and love for my projects. Furthermore, I am committed to fostering collaboration and building strong relationships with colleagues and partners, to celebrate heritage, literature, and culture.
