Aggie Joly De Lotbiniere
BA Textile Design
For the last four years, I have been privileged to study Textile and Design at the Norwich University of the Arts. Not only have I learned many practical skills, such as using knitting machines, but I have also learnt how to work in a team, how to be reliable, to problem solve, how to use my imagination yet be flexible and adaptable.
I am passionate about my final major project,’ Fidget Forms’ done with the medium knit, to design fabric and toys, to help those who suffer from anxiety, ADHD and autism, as I am a person with learning difficulties, which means I understand their needs.
I have enjoyed the work experiences that I have undertaken, which included upholstery and soft furnishing work and toy making, these experiences have fired up my ambition to gain more knowledge in upholstery world, while still developing my skills in knitting.
