Lovely to meet you! My name is Annabell Bird, an AVFX Animator and Filmmaker (as well as recent graduate!). I have recently created a short graduate film titled ‘XERCES’, produced primarily in Unreal Engine 5, alongside a selection of other short works exploring complex internal landscapes and scientific themes.

I feel as though my approach to filmmaking is rather unorthodox due to my previous experience in Fine Art, lending a helpful hand in regards to creating film and documentaries akin to my admired genres of Folk Horror, Science Fiction and Drama. Screenwriting is a significant part of my process too, and has been influenced by directors and screenwriters such as Robert Eggers, Christopher Andrews and Robert Morgan.

My heart lies in Film and Entertainment, and I am more than eager to contribute to the artistry of filmmaking.
