BA Photography
My personal photographic practice is based around Fashion and Surrealism. I’m passionate about representing emotions through the use of the uncanny.
My final project represents the idea of discovering your self-identity and who you are as an adult. It represents the feeling of not knowing whether you should be the person that everyone thinks you should be, or the person that you want to be. My work looks at how the transition between being a teenager and an adult is harder than you expect, as following your own path can be seen as selfish.
Not knowing who you are and what you want in life is a difficult position to be in, and it can make you feel lost.
I’d like to be an Editorial Fashion Photographer alongside producing my own personal work.
I enjoy working with people and creating pieces which are both surreal and people-focused. I want to be Norwich-based based but I am happy to commute. I want to keep building connections and networking with other creatives in Norwich and London.
