BA Games Art and Design
My time studying Games Art & Design allowed me to explore and build my technical and creative skillsets, including using Unreal Engine, the Adobe Suite, C++, and C# in the context of producing engaging game loops. Following the game development pipeline from concept to the polish stage has been incredibly helpful to gain experience in a variety of technical projects, both 2D and 3D.
Additionally, the opportunity to work with so many different people with individual skillsets in game jams and group projects has massively improved my team communication and honed not just my attention to detail, but my organisational abilities in a project.
Whilst learning technical concepts such as blueprinting and programming during my time at university, I have separately been improving my traditional creative skills in painting, sculpting, and digital art.
Not only did this maintain my creative interest, but I used this to support myself by selling prints, sculptures, paintings, and commissioned pieces.
