I’m a photographer with an interest and focus on still life imagery using both natural and artificial light, drawing inspiration from classical painting, illustration, advertisements, and cinema. My current practice is focused on connecting my photographic work to my first creative outlet of crafts like Origami. Working between the physical nature of crafting my subjects and the photographing of them I am exploring the possibilities of shape, form and texture and their relationship with light.

Currently, my main aim is to start working as an assistant within the field of still-life advertising imagery to further develop my skills and network with others within the industry. My longer-term goal is to build my skills, network and confidence through assisting to make the transition to working as a freelance photographer in my own right, working within similar fields like advertising but hoping to work in a wider range of areas such as editorial.
