As an illustrator and designer, I value both creativity and practicality. My time on the course helped me find an identity in my work, exploring the weirdness of the world around me, blending fantasy and reality for a new perspective on ordinary life.

Live briefs helped me get different views of my skills, collaborating with others, exploring new methods, and pitching my designs and ideas. All of this shaped my identity as an illustrator, learning what others see and enjoy in my work.

I have expanded my interests past simply drawing, to explore design and type, learning to combine my illustrations with product and print work.

Merging my skills of physical drawing with digital colouring and layout in Adobe Suite, I aim to pursue these new directions university has opened for me in my future career.

I hope to work within a studio and connect with other creatives, with an open mind for expanding my skills and taking new directions.
