Lone Stargazer is an animated short based on my own original work I have been developing over the years, this brief snippet of the world follows the character of Orion Winnomar as he ventures out onto a self reflective late night walk. When working on this short I designed and produced a lot of the assets shown from scratch, namely Orion’s rig, his sword and the ruins of the crashed space station on the horizon as well as doing all of the CG animation, lighting and compositing myself with the use of Blender and Nuke.

This project has been the culmination of the past 8 years of myself learning Blender and has shown me how in the past year alone I have been able to improve my skills even further than I previously thought possible and I am to push myself further with expanding this world and my artistic abilities.
