Design has the power to shape emotional experiences and foster meaningful connections. My work explores this by focusing on mental health, sensory engagement, and social interaction. Inspired by the fluidity of water and light’s interplay with organic forms, I begin with abstract explorations that evolve into purposeful spatial designs aimed at emotional support and well-being.
Drawing on water’s dynamic fluidity and reflective qualities, environments evoke calm and encourage connection. Rooted in biophilic principles, these spaces mirror the fragile, ever-shifting nature of mental health, balancing stillness with gentle, flowing movement, much like water’s natural rhythm.
These designs address the emotional needs of parents, carers, and children, creating inclusive sanctuaries that reduce isolation and inspire shared experiences. Ultimately, they provide nurturing spaces fostering healing, play, and community, where individuals can reconnect, reflect, and feel comforted together.
