Joan Cooper She/Her

Experimentation with paint is the primary focus of Joan’s work. She understands her relationship with colour and its fundamental role in conveying mood and emotion. This culminates in the production of atmospheric images from a physical process, to create fluid and undulating forms.

Joan works in collaboration with other artists to produce exhibitions and presentations, bringing expertise from her professional life into another sphere. Her skills in people management and development have inspired others to step up into presenting their work.

Joan is a mature student who aspires to a future working as an independent artist by developing her online presence and creating workshops with local primary schools.
