BA Photography
I am an observational photographer that is interested in people and places. My work explores themes of community, sense of place and longing. I want to use my work to highlight the significance of place, and to document the transition of space to place. I am influenced by both documentary and fine art photography. This selection of work shown is from my most recent project, entitled ‘Passing Through’. I used this project to highlight the sense of place of the Norfolk transport corridor. This project involved me documenting various locations situated within the train network from Norwich to London and Cambridge.
As I continue to engage in portfolio-expanding and network-building, I am interested in working within the pre-shoot elements, specifically location-based work and production design. I want to continue exploring my interest in the connection between person and place within a professional setting, such as gallery assisting and art direction.
