I am a photographer interested in exploring beauty and fashion within portraiture. I’m influenced by colours and how they can alter the story being told shifting the perspective and feel of the image purely through the colour palette choice. I’m also interested in lighting, specifically soft lighting as I like how it can create a soft glow on the model’s skin and highlight details in the outfits and makeup adding another layer to the image.

I’ve always loved photographing people whether that’s in a more relaxed documentary style or in a focused studio session, there’s endless possibilities in how we can explore and create a story through portraiture. I have a very specific process when it comes to my image-making. Starting with the model, sometimes I’ll have a very specific look in mind and other times I’ll be more open to a range of models and once I’ve got them booked, that’s when I start to explore the composition around the model.
