I am graduating from Norwich University of the Arts with a degree in BA Fine Art. I have used my time at university to explore the bitter-sweet memories of childhood and the sentimental objects that survive it. This theme has been important to my own healing journey as an artist.

During my time at university, I have focused on monumentalising the value and importance of these objects through scale, materiality and design. This resulted in a series of recreations of my childhood toy bunny, and finally an 8ft version made in steel, foam and various textile layers.

My final piece was influenced by my work experience at the Twins FX, Royal Opera House and National Theatre, as well as my role as an art technician for the past five years. The project enhanced my problem-solving skills, adaptability, project management and resilience.
