As a recent BA Fine Art graduate, I have used my time to further explore the medium of paint materially and visually, investigating the properties and potential outcomes that come as a result of using oil paint, oil pastel and cold wax concurrently.

My approaches and processes to making have refined over the course of my degree, and I have become confident and comfortable adapting and solving practical, conceptual and visual problems that arise when painting, curating and installing.

My involvement in the curatorial team during my final year has developed my knowledge of the relationship between artwork and physical space, an understanding that translates into my practice when considering scale and visual impact. By creating structural paintings on panels, I am able to sustain an atmospheric impact that holds visual weight through colour, form and composition.
