Throughout my degree, I ensured that creativity and my own personality were at the heart of all my work, which culminated in my final film ‘I Saw the Sunbeams’.

As well as this I have a strong interest in putting queer voices to film and while I could push this completely and unhindered in ‘I Saw the Sunbeams’ I always did my best to push this voice through into everything I worked on and each brief I received always gave me the freedom to do this.

This need truly shaped the kind of artist I became at the end of my degree, and how, going forward, I always want to be the artist that pushes for people like me and my friends in everyday media.

My interest in this area has meant I have been able to enter my film into nine different festivals, now awaiting responses.
