I’m a photographer from Hong Kong who works within documentary and fine art photography. Being in the UK for seven years has made me reflect on what I’ve missed back home; with things I remember from my childhood slowly fading away. This passage of time motivates me to use my camera as a tool to document the small hidden and unspoken stories, the unique sub-cultures, and traditions, bringing attention to them as an act for cultural preservation of a city (Hong Kong) that’s changing rapidly, passing down the knowledge for generations to come.

Through documentation, I want to display my work to international audiences as well as educate people about this very small city with a diverse culture. I also like to explore my cultural identity, expressing my perspectives through the photographic medium.
