The Evil Bride is a collection designed for a couture setting based on an original story. The story entails the journey of a young bride who is unknowingly conditioned/ Pawned as a sacrifice by her groom. In the end, she reclaims her freedom as she reigns victorious in their gory duel. The story aims to subvert the expectations from archetypal women in the horror genre and provide a new narrative for the horror female identity.

The collection follows the narrative and portrays the tale through the gradual changes in the rich colour and illustrative print and texture. The samples are made through processes such as polychromatic printing, embellishment as well as hand-drawn repeats. The question of narrative, responsibility and interpretation is raised.
