Throughout my studies, I’ve developed a strong interest in how emerging technologies, particularly augmented reality, might shape the future of editorial design. While AR remains a largely uncharted space within publishing, it’s precisely this unexplored potential that has driven my curiosity.

I based my final major project on the idea of integrating AR with editorial systems, using it as a platform to research and conceptually explore how interactivity can enhance reader engagement and visual storytelling.

Although I haven’t yet put AR into practice, my work is grounded in asking questions and framing possibilities

This ongoing exploration has sparked a clear direction for my future. I aim to continue researching the intersection of editorial design and immersive technology through postgraduate study, to help to define what the future of publishing could look like.
