Max Barker
BSc User Experience Design
I’m a creative and driven design graduate with a passion for solving problems and improving how people experience digital content. I’m interested in the nuance beyond the wireframes: understanding the “why” behind user behaviour and designing with purpose.
During my 2024 summer internship at Condé Nast, I worked on projects like Condé Clubs & Societies and Vogue Eternal, focusing on user engagement, gamification, and bringing Vogue’s archive to a new audience. These projects strengthened my skills in designing for content-rich environments and collaborating across teams. I was delighted to be invited back to Condé Nast for a full time role as Associate Product Designer on Vogue, which I began in June 25.
I’m confident in every stage of the design process, from research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping. With tools like Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Suite, I enjoy turning complex ideas into clear, well-crafted experiences.
