I am a disabled person-focused designer. my work focuses on creating bright, colourful, adaptive fashion for people with disabilities. I am the founder of May Marigold Cic.

Encountering chromatics focused on co-designing adaptive fashion that is tailored to individual preferences and requirements. Encountering chromatics centres on collaboration between the designer, participants and professionals who each contribute their insights and lived experience to create truly adaptive and inclusive outfits.

The co-design process at the foundation of this project enables inclusivity by ensuring that the voices of disabled individuals are central to the design development.

The project highlights the connection between clothing and self-identity by incorporating personal colour choices and en-clothed cognition.We learned about successes and lessons learned from the process.
