Niamh’s multidisciplinary work focuses on nature and environmental activism. She works in two areas of specialism: stop motion animation inspired by fantasy, mythology and her passion for gaming. Using her storytelling skills, she creates dark and intriguing narratives to provoke intrigue, creating more questions than answers.

The other side to her work is painting using mixed media to create abstract imagery, sometimes through the blowing of ink and paint to reflect on her experience of living with asthma and her life around wildlife.

Recently her work focuses on animal extinction, the beauty of nature and the damage we are causing to our wildlife bringing together the environmental undertones seen across her work as a whole.
