BA Illustration
Growing up in Malaysia’s multicultural society, my illustrations reflect this through a fusion of styles and themes that celebrate unity in diversity. The goal for my work is to act as a medium to bring people together and promote understanding, be it of different cultures, feelings or perspectives. My way of achieving this is through a fun and playful approach, focusing on simple graphical elements and sequential narrative to convey a story.
I have gained valuable experience working on commissions for the university, as well as collaborating with my peers. I greatly enjoy working in a team and am eager to work with others who share a passion for pushing creative boundaries through art and storytelling. Contributing to “OnceGirls” Magazine, alongside Zara Tuck, gave me the opportunity to have my work published and allowed me to delve into my wider interests of pop culture and fashion.
