BA Animation and Visual Effects
I am an artist and creative technologist, specialising in CG design and real-time experiences. Over my four years of study, I’ve combined my BA Animation and VFX with a Creative Computing Diploma to develop a fluid approach to design, allowing me to move between disciplines based on the needs of each individual project. Storytelling always comes before format or medium, but I am particularly fond of procedural tools – primarily Houdini and TouchDesigner.
I thrive on R&D and enjoy using software in unconventional or ‘wrong’ ways to generate unusual results. Equally at home self-initiating a research-based conceptual installation, or collaborating on a commercial CG motion design campaign, I’m interested in generalist positions that span digital, experiential, motion, and / or interactive contexts, at studios that value experimental approaches to new technologies.
