BA Photography
My work often focuses on the mundane, capturing the overlooked moments of daily life and revealing the hidden stories within our surroundings. Inviting the viewer to pause and reflect, to take note of and appreciate the quiet moments we often overlook. I am particularly drawn to night photography and empty spaces, where I use lighting, setting, location, and colour to capture a sense of isolation, that distinct feeling of disconnection from one’s environment. My role is that of a quiet observer, watching from the outside.
I explore the use of lighting, colour, and composition, transforming ordinary moments into eye-catching visual narratives. Cultivating a lens of curiosity and creativity as I continue to seek to uncover the hidden stories and unseen beauty in the world around us.
