My professional practice pertains primarily to the music industry, working on EP’s and music advertising material for musicians, as well as headshots and such. My work plays with darker more macabre elements to create engaging work that draws viewers in as if i’m playing with the concept of L’appel du Vide; or the call of the void, to draw my viewers interest. I have experimented with this theme using low key lighting, and posture to present the darker macabre concepts and aesthetics.

I also have been known to have an outstanding technical use of gels and colour to sustain a darker aesthetic and lighting setup. This is a bleed over from my personal work where I have tried to explore the idea of the “Human Condition” through the concept of Hauntology and Ontology and have experimented heavily with halftone, abstract body form and the use of gels as a form of abstraction a lot.
