I’m Toby, and I’m a multimedia artist who is inspired by the world of fantasy. I explore ways in which I can create immersive and believable storytelling by taking elements from my inspirations and adapting them into my own work through sculpture, paintings and drawings.

Within my practice, I like to focus on using recycled and found materials for most of my outcomes, finding ways to utilise these to replicate textures, shapes and forms from fantasy, ranging from dragons to armour and most things in-between.

During my time on my course, I have been able to expand my knowledge in my areas of interest and explore new ways of creating outcomes. I have also been able to develop new skills, including sewing, model making techniques, time management, leatherwork, bookbinding and chainmail weaving.
