My work has developed a distinctive analogue feel, inspired by the tones, feel and textures of photographic film despite being mostly digital, as I’ve dedicated time to replicating the style throughout my practice.

I primarily work with metal, emo and hardcore bands that have a distinct visual identity, and I enjoy the process of combining my style with other artists’ to create unique visuals that complement their music. While mainly producing stills, I also work with video, experimenting with ways I can implement my creative identity into this medium also.

My work also subliminally explores ideas of self-identity and performance, with my interest in gender theory and personal identity underpinning how I depict my subjects. I love playing with masculinity in my work where possible, exploring how different subjects can appear masculine or feminine regardless of their sex, and aiming to amplify their personal identity through aesthetic and performance, literally or otherwise.
