Grace E.J. Wiggins
BA Fine Art
As an artist I prioritise collaboration and self-reflection in hopes to create a more cohesive practice. My time at university has been spent exploring different artistic processes to portray my concepts, whether through sculpture, print, film or painting, I maintained a consistent theme. I believe that it is important to explore as much as you can whilst at university to understand who you are as an artist and what you want to be. Currently I am a painter, but I will always be a sculptor, a writer, a maker.
My degree provided opportunities to expand my practice and get my foot through the door of the Norwich Arts community which has also led to key career skills which helped me get opportunities in Suffolk and London.
My practice has evolved significantly throughout my degree and my absolute love and obsession with art has resulted in a expansive and experimental style which is both fun and freeing.
