For my final project, I have created a series of three zines called Slow Style that highlight the massive environmental impact fast fashion has and how we can all shop more sustainably to slow the process down and give clothing a longer life cycle. In more recent times, fast-fashion brands like Zara, H&M, and Shein have been the easier way out of trying to find trendy clothing at a low price, but my zines further explain why this has more drawbacks than people might realise.
My 1st zine discusses the serious impacts of fast fashion, environmentally and socially, and the second zine suggests alternative ways of shopping to avoid these harmful brands. My 3rd zine is a slightly different context; it’s a Pink Pantheress music fan zine that connects with my target audience (young adults). It mainly talks about the meaning behind her songs.
