As a textile student specialising in knit, I don’t want to stop learning about knit until I’ve explored all the forms of constructed textiles all around the world. I want to continue my studies into the working world and learn and watch how knitting changes over the course of my life. I want to watch, learn and develop the future of knitting machines and help push sustainable knit into the world as the future of garment construction.

I believe that the future of fashion lies within the further development of yarn and machinery to create a fully sustainable form of fashion. I believe that by learning about different cultures’ ways of making cloth, there are unlimited possibilities and ever-changing ways to learn about knitting and garment construction/development.
