Harrison Bedford
BA Design for Publishing
My name is Harrison Bedford, a type-driven editorial designer with a passion for work that challenges expectations. My final project, THIRTYSIXHUNDRED, is a 12-article magazine in which time, not rules, was the design constraint, producing something raw, varied, and unlike anything on the shelf.
For the final three months of my degree, I interned three days a week at Protect, a London clothing brand, proving I could manage live design work alongside my studies without compromising either. I thrive under pressure, care deeply about quality and impact, and want to create work that disrupts standards.
At the core of my practice is a belief that typography is not decoration but the backbone of communication. I use type to set tone, create tension, and give work a voice that imagery alone cannot achieve.
