Amy White
BA Fine Art
As a recent BA Fine Art graduate, I have specialised my practice around consumerism using mundane contexts and distorting them into bold displays of disgust and nostalgia. A key motif to my work is using edible materials often in sculpture and performance, however I adapt this work into other mediums including but not limited to; photography, film, collage, and printmaking with a specialised knowledge of mould making, public performance, and Adobe and Microsoft platforms.
Being a multidisciplinary artist, I have gained skills in organisation and planning whilst confidently multi-tasking and communicating across departments. I thrive in busy work environments, supporting others on projects that aren’t limited to my own subject matter. I’ve volunteered consistently outside of my degree on projects such as curating the Fine Art Interim show, leading workshops for Kick the Dust with Norwich Museum, and making promotional content protesting Stop the Wensum Link for Norfolk Wildlife Trust.
