Izabela Wesolowska
BA Interior Design
I have developed a passion for environmental psychology, shaped by my extensive research into how spatial environments influence human behaviour, wellbeing, and emotional response. This interest developed most strongly through my exploration of carceral environments, where I examined how design can either reinforce or reduce stress, anxiety and isolation. In particular, I became engaged with the idea that interior design has the power to support rehabilitation and dignity, rather than purely control or contain.
