As a designer I enjoy all things print, I’ve used my time on this course to gain an solid understanding of design principles, artwork production and experimented with the potential of printed materials. I have explored a range of analogue processes and techniques which have contributed to my creative practice. I’ve also used this opportunity as a way to gather many different useful skills in design. These include an understanding of typography and type setting, software skills on Adobe suites (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Photography and art direction, working collaboratively, and following industry briefs. My specialities lie in graphic design with a focus on publishing as I have a passion for print, books, and editorial design.
