Mia Endacott
BA Illustration
Throughout my degree & growing as an illustrator, I have explored a variety of creative avenues; with confidence in narrating mental health/wellbeing in a visual way. Themes of mental health have been central to my work since starting at university and have been communicated in ways ranging from a children’s book to a textile collage.
I have a passion for combining mediums into a piece and exploring the boundaries of materials, shown through my latest project combining both cyanotype with embroidery. Creative risk taking is an element to Illustration that I welcome with open arms & thoroughly enjoy pushing the creative boundaries. I have grown confidence working in a variety of materials including pen, pencil, cyanotype, textiles and digital drawings.
Amongst my time at university, I have gained experience in creating commissions for clients with a main interest in digitally drawn pet portraits. The experience has provided extensive communication skills before joining this industry.
