Jessica Harrington
BA Fine Art
Jess Harrington is a multidisciplinary artist working across installation, sculpture, architectural modelling, and VR. Her practice explores perception, embodiment, and the psychological relationship between bodies and space, often creating fragmented or immersive environments that shift between physical and digital experience. Combining intuitive experimentation with technical processes including welding, digital 3D modelling, fabrication, and virtual environment design, she develops works that investigate instability, scale, and spatial disorientation.
Her recent projects explore how architectural structures can shape movement, perception, and emotional experience, creating spaces that feel simultaneously familiar and impossible. Alongside her studio practice, Harrington has experience leading museum workshops and developing audience-focused creative activities, informing her interest in interaction, perception, and participation within contemporary art.
