BA Games Art and Design
I am a concept and 3D environment artist whose work explores Vietnamese folklore, spirituality, and horror. Throughout my degree, I developed 2D and 3D skills using Photoshop, Maya, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 5 to create narrative-driven worlds and characters. My recent project, Mịch – 糸, combines historical research and cinematic environment design to build a dark fantasy inspired by Vietnamese culture and mythology.
Alongside strengthening my visual storytelling skills, my course helped me develop project management, adaptability, and cross-disciplinary workflows. I actively improve through independent learning, artist communities, and portfolio reviews. I am particularly interested in concept art for games and entertainment, with a focus on character design, atmospheric environments, and culturally inspired narratives.
