Chloe Mouatt
BA Interior Design
Throughout my degree, I have developed a strong passion for accessible design, focusing on creating spaces that enhance the user experience for everyone. My interest centres on understanding how people with disabilities perceive and interact with interior spaces, and how, as a designer, I can enhance comfort, independence, and inclusion within the built environment.
Through my final project, I investigated how visually impaired people experience interior environments, helping me develop a greater understanding of inclusive and user-centred design.
I have developed skills in software programmes including AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and the Adobe Suite, alongside strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Going forward, I would like to explore residential design further, with a focus on creating inclusive homes that support individual user needs as I believe the spaces people inhabit every day have a significant impact on wellbeing and quality of life.
