I am a print designer, using a variation of printing methods to create resolved repeats, graphic prints and textured prints. I have used natural inspiration to inform my work, focusing on fluidity within nature. My prints communicate the locations I have visited; outside is where I find sparks most interest and I find I produce the best work. I feel my prints show the textures of the natural environments that I have surrounded myself by, using different binders and printing methods in order to achieve this desired outcome. My final collections consists of a mixture of repeat prints, embellishment and garments, I wanted to show my range with my print development and my interest in fashion contexts. The fashion garments used were 2 hoodies and 2 t-shirts which I printed using textured binders to give the illusion of growth through texture.
