I am a graphic designer specialising in publishing, focused on experimental visual storytelling and alternative design. My work creates bold, distinctive outcomes that balance originality with clear communication, influenced by design history, illustration, and collecting culture.

Studying BA Design for Publishing at Norwich University of the Arts has strengthened my skills in editorial design, typography, branding, and creative problem-solving. My Archive publication explores collecting culture through an interactive alternative to traditional publishing formats, while my SPD spreads reflect my passion for vibrant publishing and typography.

Alongside my degree, I founded and manage Fishing For Toys, a successful vintage toy resale business established at 15 that operates across online platforms, fairs, and markets, building a strong customer base through branding, marketing, and content creation.

These spreads were entered into the SPD Design Competition. Inspired by retro website aesthetics, the design combines chaotic imagery with controlled layouts and bold colour direction. By blending vintage digital design principles with contemporary publishing standards, the spreads create an energetic yet structured reading experience.
The cover for Ring is heavily influenced by Japanese imagery and typography, adapted for an English-speaking audience. The use of two vibrant colours creates a bold, eye-catching composition, while the abstract imagery on the cover was designed to enhance the publication’s intense visual identity.
The covers for Night Watch take an abstract approach inspired by the novel’s themes of inevitability and the bootstrap paradox. The use of an egg and skull creates a direct visual paradox, symbolising the cyclical relationship between life, death, and time within the narrative.
